Favicon

Introduction

The favicon is the small icon shown in the browser tab. In Tulo Shop, each title can have its own favicon, so a marketplace for one of your titles shows that title's icon instead of your organisation's.

Adding a favicon

Navigate to PAP => Controlpanel => Titles and open the title. Drag an image to the Tulo Shop favicon field, or click it and choose a file, then save the title.

  • Use a .png or .ico file of at most 1024 KB.
  • A square image, at least 32 × 32 pixels, gives the best result.
  • To stop using the favicon, click Remove under the image and save the title.

Which favicon is shown

Tulo Shop shows the favicon of the title the marketplace is for. That is the title set on the marketplace, or the title chosen in the link to it. If all products in the marketplace belong to the same title, that title is used.

If that title has no favicon, or no single title can be found, Tulo Shop shows your organisation's default favicon.

Note

A new or changed favicon can take up to 60 minutes to show in Tulo Shop. To show it right away, reset the cache of the marketplace in PAP. See Marketplace Cache.
