Tulo Paywall - UTM parameters¶
Target audience: Developers, Stakeholders
Introduction¶
Tulo Paywall supports the standard UTM attribution parameters. You supply them as attributes on the Tulo Paywall Javascript initializer, and they are appended to the purchase link the visitor follows from the paywall — so the downstream destination (your shop, your analytics tooling) can pick them up there.
| Attribute | Description |
|---|---|
utmSource |
The campaign source (e.g. newsletter, facebook). |
utmMedium |
The campaign medium (e.g. email, cpc). |
utmCampaign |
The campaign name. |
utmContent |
The campaign content variant. |
Tulo Paywall does not collect UTM data
UTM parameters are passed through, not collected. Tulo Paywall does not record them, and they are not added to any Engage BI events or stored in Tulo. Attribution is the responsibility of the downstream destination the purchase link points to.
Where to configure¶
UTM parameters are configured on the Paywall Javascript initializer. See the version-specific attribute tables:
