Tulo Paywall - UTM parameters

Introduction

Tulo Paywall supports the standard UTM attribution parameters. You supply them as attributes on the Tulo Paywall Javascript initializer, and they are appended to the purchase link the visitor follows from the paywall — so the downstream destination (your shop, your analytics tooling) can pick them up there.

Attribute Description
utmSource The campaign source (e.g. newsletter, facebook).
utmMedium The campaign medium (e.g. email, cpc).
utmCampaign The campaign name.
utmContent The campaign content variant.

Tulo Paywall does not collect UTM data

UTM parameters are passed through, not collected. Tulo Paywall does not record them, and they are not added to any Engage BI events or stored in Tulo. Attribution is the responsibility of the downstream destination the purchase link points to.
