Overview

SV Försäljning och betalningar · FI Myynti ja maksut

The Sales & payments section of dashboards gives insights into the sales processes.

Sales

SV Försäljning · FI Myynti

The Sales dashboard provides a comprehensive view of subscription and article sales activity. It uses a Report date range filter (defaulting to 366 days) and supports a wide range of additional filters (e.g. product, campaign, traffic source, customer demographics) making it one of the most flexible dashboards in the system.

Sales monthly

A dual-axis combination chart showing monthly sales aggregated by month:

  • amount_sold (pink/purple bars, right axis) — the total revenue amount from sales in the month.
  • sold_subscriptions (purple line, left axis) — the number of subscriptions sold in the month.

Use this chart to track both volume and value of sales over time and identify seasonal patterns or the impact of specific campaigns.

Sales weekly

The same dual-axis combination chart as Sales monthly but aggregated by week (amount_sold bars and sold_subscriptions line), giving a more granular view for identifying short-term sales spikes.

Top 20 articles

A data table listing the top 20 articles leading to a subscription purchase during the report period, with the following columns: article_url and purchases. Useful when you want to identify which content drives the most individual purchases.

Sold subscriptions cloud

A word cloud where each word represents a product or campaign code, sized proportionally by the number of subscriptions sold. This gives an immediate visual overview of which products or campaigns are driving the most sales volume.

Sold subscriptions pie

A donut chart breaking down sold subscriptions by product code. Useful for understanding the product mix of new sales.

Sold subscriptions age pie

A donut chart breaking down sold subscriptions by the buyer's age group. Age groups are derived from customer profile data. Use this to understand the demographic spread of your new subscribers.

Sold subscriptions gender pie

A donut chart breaking down sold subscriptions by the buyer's reported gender (F, M, ? for unknown/not specified).

Sold subscriptions product type pie

A donut chart breaking down sold subscriptions by product type (combination, digital_epaper, digital_only, epaper_only, paper_only). Useful for understanding how the format mix of sold subscriptions evolves over time.

Sold subscriptions traffic source pie

A donut chart breaking down sold subscriptions by the traffic source associated with the purchase. Helps attribute sales to specific referral or campaign traffic sources.

Sold subscriptions period pie

A donut chart breaking down sold subscriptions by the subscription period length (e.g. 1 month, 1 year, 1 day, 3 month, 6 month, 12 month, 2 month, 0 fixed, 0 article, and other durations). Useful for understanding which term lengths are most popular among new subscribers.

Payments

SV Betalningar · FI Maksut

The Payments dashboard provides a summary of payment and credit activity. It uses a Report date range filter (defaulting to 30 days).

Overview

Three KPI cards summarise payment activity for the selected period:

Metric Description
Amount paid The total amount received across all payment methods in the period.
Amount credited The total amount credited (refunded) across all payment methods in the period.
# Payments The total number of individual payment transactions in the period.

A bar chart showing the total amount paid per months over the selected report period. Use this to track payment volume trends month by month.

Credited monthly

A bar chart showing the total amount credited (refunded) per month over the selected report period. Useful for monitoring refund volumes alongside payment activity.

A grouped bar chart showing the total amount paid per month, broken down by payment method. Use this to understand which payment channels are most used and how the mix shifts over time.

Credited monthly by payment method

A grouped bar chart showing the total amount credited per month, broken down by the same payment method segments as above. Use this alongside the paid chart to assess refund activity per channel.

Paywall

SV Betalvägg · FI Maksumuuri

The Paywall dashboard analyses the conversion funnel from paywall impressions through to completed purchases. It uses a Report date range filter (defaulting to 366 days) and includes two additional inline filters: Title (to scope to a specific publication) and Paywall (to scope to a specific paywall configuration).

Paywall funnel

A funnel chart visualising the three stages of the paywall conversion flow:

  1. View paywall — the number of times the paywall was shown to a user.
  2. Click purchase — the number of times a user clicked to initiate a purchase from the paywall.
  3. Complete purchase — the number of times a purchase was completed after clicking through the paywall.

The width of each funnel stage is proportional to the number of events, making drop-off between stages immediately visible. Use this chart to identify where in the funnel potential subscribers are being lost.

Top 20 articles

A data table listing the top 20 articles that triggered paywall views resulting in a purchase. Use this to identify which content is most effective at converting readers into subscribers.
