Introduction

This document answers commonly asked questions about the integration between Payway and Adyen.

I keep receiving error "Invalid PaRes from issuer". What to do?

This is often due to the use of scandinavian characters in the merchant or company account name.

Contact Adyen support and ask them to replace any scandinavian characters in your company name or merchant names. This should not affect the UI in the Adyen portal.

I want my customers to be able to change their credit card info. What to do?

This needs to be enabled by Adyen separately since not all card brands support this kind of 0 amount verification. Read more on BIN data and card verification.

Contact Adyen support and ask them to enable zero authentication.

I want my customers to be able to perform purchases using Bank payments. What to do?

To enable bank payments you need to contact Adyen support. For payments on the finnish market we recommend using Paytrail.
