Configure Tulo Paywalls

Target Audience: Users, Developers

Release version: 4.6.2

Introduction

Tulo Paywalls offer an easy way to package and sell your offers on your site. What is presented to the user, everything from texts, prices and design, all can be controlled by you.

The paywall's job is to:

  • Present your users with templated offers tailored for each site.
  • Evaluate the best offer for that user based on history, order validation, configuration, and more.
  • Measure the performance on each paywall so you can see what works best for you.

This is made possible by combining an offer and a template into what we call a Tulo Paywall.

Prerequisites for using your Tulo Paywall

After you have created your Tulo Paywall and you're getting started with displaying your first Tulo Paywall, ensure the following:

  • The Tulo Paywall has been activated. In order to use a Tulo Paywall, regardless of how, where and when, it must be activated. Simply find the Tulo Paywall you'd like to activate, and under it's options, you can activate it.
    • Similarily, if you'd like to suspend a Paywall from accidentally being used somewhere, it can be deactivated in the same way.
  • The Tulo Paywall has been marked as standard OR you have taken note of the Paywall code. In order to display your paywall on your site, you will either need to pass in a paywall code, or have a paywall marked as standard for the specific title. Read more on this behaviour here.

Delete a Tulo Paywall

You are allowed to delete paywalls in PAP. Note: This will not remove the offer and template connected to the Tulo Paywall.
