Marketplaces

Target Audience: Users, Developers

Introduction

Marketplaces are way to market packages and campaigns in Payway. Either using the marketing module available or by integrating with our API's.

Groups

Marketplaces are configured into groups. This is to ease administration where multiple titles are available. If you only manage a single title you can put all marketplaces into the same group. When creating or editing your first marketplace group, you got a few fields to consider:

  • Name: The name of the marketplace group. Will be used to identify the marketplace group across Payway.
  • Theme: The current theme of the marketplace group. You can read more about themes and how they can help with your marketplace management/integration here.
  • Key: A unique code. Will be used to identify the marketplace group across Payway.
  • Color: Optional value. Can be used to specify a specific color for this marketplace group.
  • Heading: Heading of the marketplace group. Will be used when rendering this marketplace group towards your customers.
  • Description: Description of the marketplace group. Will be used when rendering this marketplace group towards your customers.

Marketplace

A marketplace contains information on the configured offers set up in the PAP. When creating or editing your first marketplace, you got a few fields to consider:

  • Name: The name of the marketplace. Will be used to identify the marketplace across Payway.
  • Sales period: The sales period of this marketplace. Only applicable for those using Tulo Shop, or integrating through our APIs.
  • Title: Will not affect the marketplace by itself, but will filter out what Packages & Campaigns are shown in the list below.
  • Theme: The current theme of the marketplace. You can read more about themes and how they can help with your marketplace management/integration here.
  • Key: A unique code. Will be used to identify the marketplace across Payway.
  • URL for logo: Optional value. Can be used to specify a specific logo URL for this marketplace.
  • Color: Optional value. Can be used to specify a specific color for this marketplace.
  • Heading: Heading of the marketplace group. Will be used when rendering this marketplace towards your customers.
  • Description: Description of the marketplace group. Will be used when rendering this marketplace towards your customers.
  • Packages & campaigns: Decides what products will be included when displaying this marketplace towards your customers.
  • Offer: Decides what product will be highlighted when displaying this marketplace towards your customers.
