Change renewal date¶
Target audience: Administrators, Customer Service
Release version: 4.9.2.0
Introduction¶
This page describes the functionality of changing the current payment method for a subscription in Tulo Payway.
There are currently two ways to change a subscription payment method.
Manually change payment method¶
You can manually change the payment method for a given subscription in PAP. See more here.
This can be necessary even if you have enabled automatic changes since there are cases when Tulo Payway can't determine what subscription to change. That can be in the case of multiple subscriptions or if the requirements aren't met. You will then receive a Message in PAP informing you of the failed change and you can manually handle it.
Automatically change payment method¶
When a user registers or changes an Autogiro approval with Billecta or their bank Tulo Payway can listen to that change.
Case 1: User registers Autogiro approval after receiving a paper invoice¶
Tulo Payway receives a webhook from Billecta and changes the current payment method of the subscription to Billecta - Autogiro. The next renewal will then be performed using Billecta-Autogiro.
Case 2: User removes Autogiro approval¶
Tulo Payway receives a webhook from Billecta and changes the current payment method of the subscription to Billecta - Invoice. Either email or mail depending on what is available. The next renewal will then be performed using Billecta - Invoice.
Requirements¶
To leverage automatic payment change in full you will need to enable the following webhooks in the Billecta administration portal.
