Silence mail notifications

Target Audience: Administrators

Introduction

As an administrator, you can now choose to pause email notifications for a limited time for a given customer. This will allow you to perform actions on this customers behalf, without flooding the customer's inbox with unnecessary mail, that they might already be aware of.

Note that this pauses email notifications for the entirety of the customer's account, and not only for actions that you as an administrator might be taking on the customer's behalf.

How do I shut off mail notifications for a customer?

In order to shut off mail notifications for a customer, simply navigate to the account overview page of the customer. In the left-hand side menu, you will then find a new "Disable email events for account" button.

How do I reactivate mail notifications for a customer?

In order to reactivate mail notifications for a customer, simply navigate to the account overview page of the customer. In the left-hand side menu, you will find a new "Resume email events for account" button. If this button is not present, it is possible the email notifications for the customer have already been resumed.

Note: For safety reasons, email notifications for a customer will be automatically resumed after 15 minutes.
